The Gilbert Scott bar & brasserie appears, from the outside to be a separate fixture of the Renaissance Hotel. However, once you’re inside and realise the GS feeds round to the main hotel through dreamy staircases and twinkling chandeliers, you can’t help feel swept away by the grandeur of the place.
From the outside, this place is gorgeous. From the inside. Even more so.
My friend had wanted to go for brunch at the Gilbert Scott for the longest time.
Luckily for us, there was a brunch deal when we wanted to go
(but menus and prices are subject to change so check before if you’re after a cheeky offer)
They gave us granola and greek yoghurt to start…which in fact I fact, I demolished before I could even take a picture!
My friend enjoyed pancakes with bacon and syrup:
Whilst I preferred something a bit more protein rich in a cheesy omelette
with an extra helping of admiration for our surroundings!
After brunch, we decided to take a little wander through the hotel and came out through the bar.
One of the most majestic and regal bar/hotel receptions beautiful open plan.
Could have stayed here all day!
Can’t to try?
