I can now say: ‘I know this great little Italian place..’

As soon as you enter Pentolina, in Brook Green, there is a feeling of envy.
You know when you go to someone else’s house and you immediately are taken ill with house-envy.
Just knowing the place is tidier, better co-ordinated and oozing more effortless sophistication than you could ever create yourself. Yep. I was suffering from it.

The inside appears small but we were led downstairs into a welcoming dining room. It felt almost as if we’d been invited over for an intimate dinner party…only with various other people as well.
